PAULAS ALB: A PIECE OF LOCAL HISTORY
Where does the name of our restaurant in Ehingen come from – Paula’s Alb? Very simple: The Lifestyle Inn is named after Paula Mauz. It was the year 1918 when Paula Mauz – the mother of house senior Karl Mauz – first appeared in our family records. In the very difficult times of the First World War, Paula embodied values back then that we can still be proud of today: Conscientiousness, the fulfilment of family obligations, and a love of her profession and gastronomy are distinctive and honourable characteristics that made up Paula Mauz’s personality. Since these traits are still an integral part of our culture today – coupled with a close connection to the Swabian Alb – we are very proud to have christened the inn with the name Paula’s Alb. We also place great emphasis on a familiar atmosphere and regionalism – and you can feel it. It is our aim that you feel comfortable with us.
